From January 16th through 23rd was held in Trieste (Cinema Excelsior, via Muratti) the annual event Alpe Adria Cinema – Trieste Film Festival. This event, organized by the Association Alpe Adria Cinema, has always been an observatory on the cinematographic production of Middle-Eastern Europe. During eight days the public, the press and the experts were given the opportunity to get to know a cinematographic production being often excluded from large scale distribution, even though it is of true artistic interest and in constant evolution.
Again for this edition, as it has always been the case since 1995, the Fondazione Laboratorio Mediterraneo collaborated with Alpe Adria Cinema, awarding the International Prize “Laboratorio Mediterraneo” to the best short film.
