ARCHITETTURA:
CONFRONTO SUL MEDITERRANEO CON 50 ESPERTI
(ANSAmed) - ISCHIA (NAPOLI), 3 OTT - Si terrà dal 5 al 7 ottobre
prossimi a Ischia il 12° incontro di Architettura Mediterranea. Il
tema di quest'anno, sul quale si confronteranno 50 architetti
provenienti da Italia, Spagna e Grecia è 'Antico/Moderno. Progetti
in trasformazione. Progetti, idee, mostre, e anche tre premi
riservati ai giovani talenti'. L'iniziativa è dell'IsAM, l'Istituto
per l'Architettura Mediterranea – membro della rete della Fondazione
Mediterraneo – e diretto da Antonello Monaco che tutti gli anni
promuove nell'isola incontri internazionale. Lo stesso Monaco,
Silvia Malcovati e Nicola Mattera, componenti del comitato
organizzatore dell'incontro, hanno illustrato le varie fasi
dell'evento che prevede venerdì 5 ottobre l'avvio dei lavori e
l'inaugurazione dell'esposizione con la presentazione dei progetti
in esposizione. Durante i tre giorni ci sarà un susseguirsi di
tavole rotonde, conferenze, presentazioni nelle tre sedi scelte per
l'incontro ischitano, il Castello Aragonese, Palazzo Malcovati e
Casa Lezza. Due le soprintendenze ai Beni Artistici coinvolte,
quella di Napoli con Paolo Mascilli Migliorini e quella di Nuoro e
Sassari con Stefano Gizzi. Partecipano le Università di Napoli
Federico II, La Sapienza di Roma, Università degli Studi di Parma,
Università degli studi Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria, Università
di Milano, il Politecnico di Torino. A conclusione dei lavori ci
sarà il lancio del concorso di progettazione per la copertura della

ARCHITECTURE: 12TH MEETING ON MEDITERRANEAN WITH 50 EXPERTS
(ANSAmed) - ISCHIA (NAPLES), OCTOBER 4 - Ischia will host between
from tomorrow until October 7 the 12th meeting on Mediterranean
Architecture. This year's theme, which will involve in discussion 50
architects from Italy, Spain and Greece, is 'Ancient/Modern.
Transformation Projects. Projects, Ideas, Exhibitions and Three
Awards Reserved for Young Talents'. The initiative is of the
Mediterranean Architecture Institute (IsAM) – member of the network
of Fondazione Mediterraneo – led by Antonello Monaco who promotes
international meetings on the island. Monaco, Silvia Malcovati and
Nicola Mattera, members of the organisation committee of the
meeting, illustrated the various stages of the event which schedules
for Friday, October 5, the start of the works and the opening of the
exhibition with the presentation of the projects on show. Round
tables, conferences, presentations in the three seats selected for
the meeting in Ischia - the Castello Aragonese, Palazzo Malcovati
and Casa Lezza - will follow one after the other during the
three-day event. Two artistic heritage superintendencies are
involved, that of Naples with Paolo Mascilli Migliorini and that of
Nuoro and Sassari with Stefabo Gizzi. Participants include the
Federico II University of Naples, La Sapienza of Rome, the Parma
University, Reggio Calabriàs Mediterranean University, the
University of Milan, Turin's Polytechnical University. At the end of
the works, a competition for the covering of the Cathedral of the
Castello Aragonese of Ischia will be launched.
