EGITTO: BADINI, ITALIA FACCIA COME FRANCIA E AIUTI SVILUPPO
(ANSAmed) - MILANO, 15 GEN - Inserirsi nella rete finanziaria mediorientale e puntare, sul modello della Francia, al rilancio industriale dello spazio economico euro-mediterraneo: è questa la ricetta proposta dall'ex ambasciatore in Egitto Antonio Badini in un articolo pubblicato dal quotidiano economico il Sole 24 ore perché l'Italia approfitti dello sviluppo del Paese nordafricano, entrato a pieno diritto, dopo Turchia e Israele, nel gruppo delle economie emergenti dell'area. Lo scenario finanziario nella zona mediterranea - si legge nell'articolo - ha vissuto nel 2007 uno sviluppo impressionante delle attività. Dal punto di vista industriale, poi, si aprono prospettive interessanti, come dimostra l'intraprendenza della Francia di Sarkozy. In Egitto Parigi ha segnato punti importanti con la recente acquisizione della divisione cemento di Orascom da parte di Lafarge, ma le imprese francesi sono attive anche nei settori del ferro, dell'acciaio delle comunicazioni e delle infrastrutture. Per l'Italia, che a fine mese accoglierà a Roma una delegazione guidata dal presidente egiziano Hosni Mubarak per un vertice con il presidente del Consiglio Romano Prodi, le possibilità da sfruttare - secondo Badini - sarebbero invece più nei settori della meccanica e nel manifatturiero, per contribuire all'ammodernamento del tessuto produttivo dell'Egitto.
