MAROCCO: A RABAT UNA SEDE DEL CENTRO DI STUDI MEDITERRANEI
PROGETTO LANCIATO DALLA FONDAZIONE LABORATORIO DI NAPOLI
(ANSAMED) - NAPOLI, 30 SET - Rafforzare il dialogo fra Oriente e Occidente. E' quanto si propone
''Chaires d'Etudes Mediterraneens'', il centro di alti studi mediterranei per promuovere
l'alta formazione e la conoscenza di discipline legate alla cultura
mediterranea. Un'iniziativa rilanciata oggi in Marocco durante un
incontro fra il presidente della Fondazione Laboratorio Mediterraneo
Michele Capasso, il ministro della Cultura marocchina Mohammed Achaari
e altre autorita' marocchine.
''Siamo in dirittura d'arrivo per istituire a Rabat una sede per
il Maghreb della ''Maison de la Mediterranee'' in grado di coordinare
le diverse anime di quest'area geografica,
soprattutto quella moderata, per arrivare a un Islam capace di coesistere
con la globalizzazione e i mutamenti culturali, politici e sociali
in corso'', ha spiegato Capasso. Quella di Rabat sara' la seconda
sede dopo quella inaugurata in Giordania nel 2000. ''Il 24 ottobre
avremo un incontro a Napoli con le autorita' marocchine per la firma
dell'accordo'', ha aggiunto Capasso.

PROJECT LAUNCHED BY FONDAZIONE LABORATORIO OF NAPLES
(ANSAMED) - NAPLES, SEPTEMBER 30 - Strengthening the dialogue between the East and the West. It's the
main objective of ''Chaires d'Etudes Mediterraneens'', the centre for the studying
of Mediterranean cultures. The initiative was also launched in Morocco
during a meeting between Michele Capasso, President of Fondazione
Laboratorio Mediterraneo of Naples, and Mohammed Achaari, the Moroccan
Minister of Culture and other Moroccan authorities.
''We're about to establish in Rabat another centre of ''Maison de
la Mediterranee'' for the Maghreb with the task to coordinate the
different cultures of this area in order to have
an Islam able to coexist with globalization and the political, social
and cultural changes'', said Capasso. The centre of Rabat will be
the second after the one established in Jordan in 2000.
On October 24 we will have a meeting in Naples with Moroccan authorities
for the signing of the agreement'', added Capasso.
