COLLÈGE DE LA MÉEDITERRANÉE

In the European Union and particularly in Italy is in act a reform of superior studies that gives to the public university a technical direction in acquisition of gradual knowledge during the course of citizen's life through permanent updating. So, other institutions no profit with support of international community employ their ability to improve personal reflection and inventive, condition not only for science and literature's development but also for economic and political enterprises. These institutions believe the instruction is a decisive political factor for the future of new Europe because it will influence on the nature of European democracy like the secular school influenced the French society.

The Fondazione Mediteraneo, in collaboration with High Institution and Universities - like the Studies University of Naples "L'Orientale" - decided to satisfy this necessity - under direction and collaboration of the most significant personalities of international science and culture - founding through Mediterranean Academy a Collège de la Méditerranée that trains the new generation of Mediterranean scholars shared by an equal critical knowledge.

The seat of the Collège de la Méditerranée is in Naples Via Depretis, 130.
