The 4th edition of the event
entirely dedicated to the Arab Cinema has taken place. This initiative
was launched in 1988 with the intention to show the Italian public
works and authors with a high artistic value, which have been ignored
by the commercial distributors. The Festival follows the basic principles
of promoting a respectable and original event for the cinematographic
cultural heritage of Arab countries. Through this kind of art, conditions
for a major tolerance and recognition of diversity want to be achieved.
