EGYPT-ITALY: MUSIC TO FUEL
MEDITERRANEAN DIALOGUE
(ANSAMED)
- CAIRO, NOVEMBER 25 - The Italian embassy, the Egyptian ministry of
culture and the foundation of the Mediterranean Laboratory ,organised
the first Euro mediterranean concert for the intercultural Dialogue.
The event is also promoted by the Italian musician Eugenio Bennato,
under the title "Let the Mediterranean sea be a sea of peace".
The Cairo symphony orchestra conducted by Nayer Nagui, will also be
envolved in the performance, together with the Italian 'Taranta
Power' group founded by Bennato, Fathi Salama from Egypt, Hasna el
Becharia from Algeria, Tala Tutunj from Jordan. The concert will
start saturday December 26 at the Opera theater main hall in Cairo.(ANSAMED).
