“Ad Hoc” Euro-Mediterranean Conference of Crete |
The “Ad Hoc” Euro-Mediterranean Conference of Crete took place in a crucial moment for the development of the European Union, for its relations with the Euro-Mediterranean Countries and for the future of the Mediterranean region.
The Conference focused on two main issues:
- to assess the progress made within the Partnership, in particular the implementation of Valencia Action Plan; and
- to discuss its future development, taking into account the enlargement of the European Union.
The Fondazione Laboratorio Mediterraneo joined the Conference, emphasizing, once again, the importance of the dialogue between cultures and societies in the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership process.
