MED: APM APPROVA ADESIONE FONDAZIONE MEDITERRANEO
(ANSAmed) - ROMA, 14 NOV - L'Assemblea Parlamentare del Mediterraneo, che si è riunita oggi a Montecarlo e che raggruppa i rappresentanti dei Parlamenti di 25 Paesi rivieraschi, tra le decisioni assunte, ha anche deliberato, all'unanimità, l'adesione della Fondazione Mediterraneo, con il ruolo di osservatore permanente. La decisione, come riferisce un comunicato, è stata adottata in considerazione del ruolo svolto dalla Fondazione, sin dal 1994, per la creazione di strumenti di dialogo nell'area. Nel discorso inaugurale della sessione, il Presidente dell'Apm, Abdelwahed Radi, ha sottolineato l'importanza dei Parlamenti per una cooperazione paritaria e per un vero dialogo tra le due rive. Il Principe Alberto II di Monaco, nel suo intervento, ha ricordato il ruolo del Principato nel Mediterraneo, specialmente sulle tematiche concernenti la difesa dell'ambiente marino. Il Presidente Radi ed i rappresentanti dei Parlamenti, è scritto ancora nel comunicato, "hanno espresso l'apprezzamento alla Fondazione per il sostegno apportato alla creazione dell'Apm, ospitando nel 2005 a Napoli, presso la sede della stessa Fondazione, la prima riunione costitutiva". (ANSAmed) - ROME, NOVEMBER 14 - The Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM), which includes representatives from the Parliaments of 25 coastal Countries and met in Montecarlo today, approved unanimously, among other things, to allow Foundation Mediterranean to join as permanent observer.
