(ANSAmed) - NAPOLI, 15 GEN - "Soffro per Napoli come per il ponte di Monstar", ha detto Predrag Matvejevic in un'intervista rilasciata a 'Il Mattino' ricordando la guerra nell'ex Jugoslavia che coinvolse anche la sua cittā natale. L'intellettuale nato in Bosnia da madre croata e padre russo, che ha ottenuto la cittadinanza italiana dal presidente Napolitano, ha paragonato i toni violenti dei leghisti agli argomenti sostenuti dai nazionalisti croati e sloveni che hanno portato alla pulizia etnica."L'emergenza rifiuti č una colpa tutta italiana", ha detto lo scrittore, "per questo la mancanza di solidarietā da parte di alcune regioni, in un momento in cui serve collaborazione, č disgustosa e mette in dubbio l'unitā stessa del paese". Matvejevic imputa parte della responsabilitā del disastro napoletano alla politica, ma esorta a non fermarsi ad una sterile polemica che non risolverebbe la situazione. The intellectual born in Bosnia to a Croatian mother and Russian father, who was granted Italian citizenship by President Napolitano, compared the violent tones of the Italian Northern League party to the arguments used by Croatian and Slovenian nationalists who led to ethnic cleansing. "The waste crisis is caused by Italians. That is why the lack of solidarity on the part of some regions at a time when collaboration is required is disgusting and puts in doubt the integrity of the country itself," the writer said.
