CULTURA: "1001 AZIONI PER IL DIALOGO INTERMEDITERRANEO"
(ANSAmed) - NAPOLI, 29 GEN - "Il nostro scopo è la coesistenza tra i popoli che possiamo realizzare solo attraverso la sperimentazione sul terreno": lo ha dichiarato il direttore della Fondazione Anna Lindh, Lucio Guerrato, durante la presentazione svoltasi a Napoli della campagna lanciata dalla Fondazione "1001 azioni per il dialogo", in occasione del '2008 anno europeo per il dialogo interculturale'. All'evento erano presenti i ragazzi del servizio civile coordinati da Antonio Altiero che svolgono un'importante azione sul territorio, attivando una rete che coinvolge 103 comuni del Mezzogiorno, sedi di laboratori di pace. L'iniziativa culminerà nella notte del 22 maggio, in cui si svolgeranno simultaneamente diverse attività, tra cui concerti, workshop, rappresentazioni teatrali, nei 37 paesi che aderiscono alla fondazione Anna Lindh, ai quali si aggiungono due paesi osservatori, l'Albania e la Mauritania. In Italia, dove si trova il network più importante, si stanno attualmente preparando vari progetti descritti nel sito web dell'iniziativa. La Fondazione Mediterraneo, presieduta da Michele Capasso, sta organizzando concerti e manifestazioni che si terranno durante "la notte del dialogo" del 22 maggio in collaborazione con il teatro Mercadante di Napoli. "Bisogna agire nel quadro socio-culturale" ha detto Guerrato. "Operare affinché la collettività abbia i mezzi per reagire alla propaganda di leader e mass media che promuovono l'intolleranza", ha aggiunto. (ANSAmed).

CULTURE: '1001 ACTIONS FOR INTERMEDITERRANEAN DIALOGUE'
(ANSAmed) - NAPLES, JANUARY 29 - "Our purpose is the coexistence among peoples, which we can implement only through experimentation on the field", the director of the Anna Lindh Foundation, Lucio Guerrato, stated during the presentation, which took place in Naples, of the campaign '1001 Actions For Dialogue' launched by the Foundation, on the occasion of the '2008 European Year of Intercultural Dialogue'. The event was attended by the boys and girls of the civil service, coordinated by Antonio Altiero, who carry out an important action on the territory, by activating a network which involves 103 municipalities of southern Italy, seats of peace laboratories. The initiative will have its peak on the night of May 22, when several events will take place at the same time, including concerts, workshops, theatre performances, in the 37 countries which are members of the Anna Lindh Foundation, to which are added two observer countries, Albania and Mauritania. In Italy, where there is the most important network, several projects, described on the website of the initiative, are currently being prepared. The Foundation Mediterraneo, chaired by Michele Capasso, is organising concerts and events which will be held during "the night of dialogue", on May 22, in cooperation with the theatre Mercadante in Naples. "We must act under the social and cultural framework", Guerrato said.
