The Fondazione Mediterraneo, like
observer structure, partecipated to some Euro-Mediterranean Conferences
and produced documents and recommendations useful for the Euro-Mediterranean
Partnership.
1st
EUROMEDITERRANEAN CONFERENCE - Barcelona, 27-28 November 1995
The Foundation presented a document including programmatic point
suggested by participants to International Congress "Mediterranean
and Europe", Naples, 24-25 November 1995.
2nd EUROMEDITERRANEAN CONFERENCE - Malta, 15-16 April 1997
The Foundation presented 2nd EuroMed Civil Forum's program.
EUROMEDITERRANEAN
CONFERENCE "AD HOC" - Palermo, 3-4 June 1998
The Foundation presented the book in five languages including plains
and recommendations suggested by 2248 participants to the 2nd EuroMed
Civil Forum.
3rd EUROMEDITERRANEAN CONFERENCE - Stuttgart, 15-16 April 1999
The 3rd Euro-Mediterranean Conference of Foreign Ministers and the
Euromed Civil Forum were held, in parallel, at Stuttgart under the
German Semester of the Presidency of the European Union
4th EUROMEDITERRANEAN CONFERENCE - Marseille, 15-16 November 2000
The fourth Euro-Mediterranean Conference of Foreign Ministers held
in Marseille showed the will of the partners to give new impulsion
to Euro-Mediterranean Partnership

EUROMEDITERRANEAN CONFERENCE - Valencia, 22-23 April 2002
The Foundation attended to the Conference giving her resources to
contribute to the birth of "EuroMediterranean Foundation for
dialogue between culture and civilization".

CONFERENCE "AD HOC" - Crete, 26-27 May 2003
The Fondazione Laboratorio Mediterraneo joined the Conference, emphasizing
the importance of the dialogue between cultures and societies in
the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership process
6th EUROMEDITERRANEAN CONFERENCE - Naples, 2-3 December 2003
The subjects on the agenda included the definition of the Central
Office of the “Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for the dialogue
between cultures and civilisations” for which the Fondazione
Laboratorio Mediterraneo had been proposed as candidate

TERM EUROMEDITERRANEAN MINISTERIAL CONFERENCE - Dublin, 5-6 May
2004
The Conference was meant to confirm the constant commitment of Barcelona
Process Partners and the importance of partnerships and cooperation
as essential tools of this process

TERM EUROMEDITERRANEAN MINISTERIAL CONFERENCE - The Hague, 29-30
November 2004
The issues on the agenda included the Statute definition and the
start of the “Euro-Mediterranean Foundation ANNA LINDH for
the Dialogue between Cultures”, of which the Fondazione Laboratorio
Mediterraneo is “European Antenna” and Italian Network
Leader
7th EUROMEDITERRANEAN CONFERENCE - Luxembourg, 30-31 May 2005
The Fondazione took part in the 7th Euro-Mediterranean Ministerial
Conference.
The common European position underlines the importance to reinforce
the contacts between the local authorities of the two shores of the
Mediterranean, between “regions and regions, between cities and
cities”.
10TH ANNIVERSARY EUROMEDITERRANEAN CONFERENCE - Barcelona, 27-28 November 2005
The Fondazione took part in the 8th Euro-Mediterranean Ministerial Conference.
During this memorable summit they adopted a five-year program of work, whose aim
is to strengthen the relationships between the two shores of the Mediterranean
and to combat the region’s great challenges.
8th EUROMEDITERRANEAN CONFERENCE - Tampere, 27-28 November 2006
The Fondazione took part in the 8th Euro-Mediterranean Ministerial
Conference.
On the occasion Fondazione Mediterraneo bestowed the Mediterranean Diplomacy Award 2006 to the Finnish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Erkki Tuomioja.
9th EUROMEDITERRANEAN CONFERENCE - Lisbone, 5-6 November 2007
The Fondazione took part in the 9th Euro-Mediterranean Ministerial
Conference. The Lisbon ministerial meeting intended to respond to the need for increased efforts at strengthening the Euro-Mediterranean partnership within a logic of greater sharing, as the Mediterranean returns to centre stage on the international agenda not only in terms of crises but also, and above all, in terms of cooperation.
EUROMEDITERRANEAN CONFERENCE - UNION FOR THE MEDITERRANEAN IS BORN - Paris 13th July 2008
In Paris, at the presence of Heads of State from 43 Countries, the "Process of Barcelona: Union for the Mediterranean" is born.
On this occasion 6 new Countries have been included in the Euromed Partnership: Albania, Mauritania, Monaco, Bosnia, Croatia e Libya.
10th EUROMEDITERRANEAN CONFERENCE TO CHOISE THE SEAT FOR THE UNION FOR THE MEDITERRANEAN - Marseille, 3-4 November 2008
The Fondazione took part in the 10th Euro-Mediterranean Ministerial
Conference. In this occasion the Fondazione Mediterraneo proposed the project "Maison des Alliances" to the actors of the civil society, to avoid duplications and waste of resources in the programmes of the UfM.
