programme of this seventh edition of the Naples Film Festival confirms that this is one of the most interesting events on the Italian scene. It’s a rich and well-structured event that focuses on both the history of our great film industry and the production realities that Italy currently faces. The competition “Europe, the Mediterranean”, in fact, is becoming an important showcase for the film-making of this area.
Therefore, the spotlight is on not only the directors Theo Angelopoulos, Giuseppe Tornatore and Zhang Yimou but also on Peppino De Filippo and the stars of Hollywood as a token of the diversity of a really remarkable programme.
