XII Biennial of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean

Catalogue of the Biennial – Naples, 19 September – 15 October 2005, (It., Eng.), format 26x28 – pp.422.

The catalogue shows the works of the Biennial of Naples, held on September 2005 in the medieval seat of Castel Sant´Elmo in Naples. On this occasion about 800 artists were present with 350 artistic productions, including visual arts, music, multimedia installations and dance.

Culture and art met and created a world, a place and a reality where people, rather than clashing, met and exchanged  their views, thus merging into a reality which anticipates what should be the politics of the States in the future.

The catalogue of the 12th edition of the Biennial of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean was presented on January the 21st in the Maison de la Méditerranée, in the presence of President of BJCEM Ibrahim Saphic, Councillors Angela Cortese and Antonella Basilico, Michele Capasso and Caterina Arcidiacono of the Fondazione Mediterraneo.
