This book gathers the proceedings
of the International Meeting “Il Mediterraneo e l’Europa”,
held in Naples on November 24th and 25th 1995 and organized by the
Fondazione Laboratorio Mediterraneo, in collaboration with the Istituto
Italiano per gli Studi Filosofici,. Scholars, experts, writers,
diplomats, representatives of civil society and the mayors of the
main cities presented, during the six sessions, a detailed examination
of the relationship between Europe and the Mediterranean. The Meeting
ended up with the production of a document submitted at the 1st
Euro-Mediterranean Conference held in Barcelona, on November 27th
and 28th 1995.
