This book illustrates the works of Pietro Volpe, whose artistic skills in both figurative art and engravings are fabulous. In his works he reproduces blurry features, fantastic forms and landscapes of his birthplace Cilento, full of freshness and spontaneity. One can relate very well to his style, since it is self expressive, though giving a surrealistic version of the reality. His art is obviously linked to deep emotions and his individual capacity of reading images by giving them a poetic identity is extraordinary.
