On February the 5th and 6th, Fondazione Mediterraneo hosted the workshop "Intercultural research and changing process: methods, resources and critic areas".

The Scientific Committee is composed by: Caterina Arcidiacono, Paolo Inghilleri, Giuseppe Mantovani, Bruno Mazzara, Giovanna Petrillo, Fortuna Procentese, Bruna Zani.

The workshop was organized in collaboration with:
- AIP - Associazione Italiana di Psicologia (Sezione di psicologia sociale)
- Laboratorio Incoparde (Dipartimento di scienze relazionali, Universitŕ Federico II di Napoli)
- Sipco - Societŕ Italiana di Psicologia di Comunitŕ
- Scuola di dottorato in scienze psicologiche e pedagogiche
- Polo delle Scienze Umane (Universitŕ Federico II di Napoli)

Inside the Trieste Film Festival, with which the Fondazione Mediterraneo collaborates since 1995, it has been assigned the Mediterranean Award for Cinema 2010 to the best short-film in contest.

The winner is:
VARIÁCIÓK (VARIATIONS)
by Krisztina Esztergályos
The young Hungarian director explores sexual relationships, provokes understanding of reality, shows awareness of visual style and talent for a precise cinema language. She shows compassion for her characters without any sentimentalism.
