Chania, 1-4 May 2003 EUROMED
CIVIL FORUM
The Euromed Civil Forum will develop in Greece, at Chania in the
island of Crete, from 1st to 4th May 2003 and will be host by the
structures of the Mediterranean Institute of Agro-Economy (MAICH).
The chief developed themes will be:
- Cultural dialogue: osmosis and tolerance
- Religious dialogue
- Intercultural education
- Peaceful solutions: intercultural dialogue and coexistence
in conflict areas
At the same time will be deepened parallel ateliers with contents
of discussion more specific in the intercultural dialogue.
To the Forum will participate more than 400 representatives of Civil
society, intellectuals and researchers from 39 Countries (Countries
members of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership, Countries coming
to enter in the European Union and Mediterranean Countries that
don't belong to the Partnership.
