EUROMED: CERIMONIA PREMI DIALOGO
ANNA LINDH 26/11 AL CAIRO
(ANSAmed) - ALESSANDRIA (EGITTO), 20 NOV - I vincitori del Premio
Euro-Med per il dialogo tra le culture saranno premiati il 26
novembre prossimo al Cairo in una cerimonia che intende onorare i
loro successi e il loro impegno a favore dell'uguaglianza di genere,
che è anche il tema di questa edizione del premio, 'Donne e uomini
mano nella mano per l'uguaglianza di generé. I due vincitori ex
aequo, comunica la Fondazione Anna Lindh in una nota, sono Rodi
Kratsa Tsagaropoulou, primo vice presidente del Parlamento europeo e
vice presidente del Comitato ad hoc per i diritti delle donne
nell'Assemblea parlamentare euro-mediterranea, e Jan Willems,
direttore artistico e programme designer della Theatre Days
Production. La Cerimonia di premiazione si svolgerà nell'ambito
dell'incontro annuale Sixth Heads of National Network, in programma
al Cairo dal 26 al 28 novembre. L'incontro riunisce i coordinatori
delle reti nazionali della Fondazione Anna Lindh, al fine di mettere
a punto la fase 2008-2010 della Fondazione, soprattutto in vista del
lancio della Campagna culturale '1001 Azioni per il dialogo', per
celebrare l'anno europeo del dialogo interculturale. La cerimonia
sarà presentata dalla star egiziana Samir Sabry, e vedrà la
partecipazione di numerosi intellettuali e politici, dei direttori
delle 37 reti nazionali Euro-Med, oltre a figure prominenti di
organizzazioni internazionali che si occupano di differenze di

AWARD, CEREMONY IN CAIRO NOV.26
(ANSAmed) - ALEXANDRIA, NOVEMBER 20 - The winners of the Euro-Med
Award for the Dialogue between Cultures will be bestowed the trophy
in a prestigious ceremony on November 26 held to honour their
achievements and proactive role they are playing in favour of gender
equality which is the 2007 theme of the award "Women and Men Hand in
Hand for Gender Equality". The two winners ex-aequo are Rodi Kratsa
Tsagaropoulou, First Vice President of the European Parliament, and
Vice President of Ad-Hoc Committee for Women's Rights in the
Euro-Med Parliamentary Assembly and Jan Willems, Artistic Director
and Programme Designer of Theatre Days Production. The ceremony will
be held in the framework of the annual Sixth Heads of National
Network Meeting to be held in Cairo November 26-27. This meeting
gathers the coordinators of the Anna Lindh Foundation national
networks to prepare the next phase of the Foundation 2008 - 2010
especially in light of the launch of the Foundation's Euro-Med
Cultural Campaign: 1001 Actions for Dialogue, celebrating the
European Year for Intercultural Dialogue. The ceremony will be
presented by the Egyptian Super Star Samir Sabry and it will be
assisted many prominent intellectual and political figures, heads of
the 37 Euro-Med National Networks, in addition to outstanding
figures from international organizations working in the field of
