TRAINING AND RESEARCH

1.The Fondazione Mediterraneo develops activities of training in order to promote the integration of Mediterranean area's young in formative process and placement of them in work environment.
For this reason the Fondazione established the Mediterranean Award for Research and is founder member of Fondazione MIB.

• 1st European Master "Complexity models and Human ecology: Instruments for the development of communities (2000-2002)
   
• 2nd European Master "Mediation in conflicts and cultures - Promotion of dialogue and development" (2005-2006)
   
• Training activities in collaboration with Agencies and Euro-Mediterranean Institutions in order to identify primary needs and promote targeted and joined solutions
   
• Management of Community

2.Research area of the Fondazione Mediterraneo aims to develop a critical culture that reads the historiography of the present and the past in an independent and multicultural prospective able to overcome stereotype, prejudice and pre-establish interests. The Foundation research areas are:

• construction of urban and environmental places in a prospective of sustainable improvement and reduction of social exclusion
  
  
• knowledge and development of enlarged social involvement strategy and citizenship
  
  
• development of Mediterranean area in the influence of identity and local membership with interaction processes connected to the new communicative technologies and global market
