The catalogue of the exhibition, inaugurated in Trieste on
January 22nd 1997, tells, through images and words, the years
of Sarajevo siege, from April 1992 to 1995. Authors of the
images: Danilo Krstanovic, press-photographer, born in Sarajevo,
has shown the changes and tragedies on the Bosnian press and,
as Reuter’s correspondent, on the most important newspapers
of the world. Milomir Kovacevic, photographer, has progressively
increased his engagement as photographer, showing the results
in public exhibitions; his images on the distribution of the

historical-artistic heritage of the besieged town are today
irreplaceable. Piero del Giudice, journalist and writer, has
been present in the Yugoslavian crisis since the beginning,
through the instant book “I giorni della Slovenia”.
The exhibition and the catalogue have also been realized thanks
to the cooperation of the Mediterranean Laboratory
Foundation.
