This book is the publication of the second part of a Ph.D. thesis on the subject "La revue libanaise Shi'r et l'une de ses figures: Ounsi el-Hage, catalogage et analyse de contenu de la revue Shi'r et étude de l'oeuvre poétique d'Ounsi el-Hage", supported by Inalco on December 2006 in Paris, under the direction of Mr. Luc Deheuvels.
The first part of the thesis was published under the title Une figure de la modernité poétique libanaise: Ounsi el-Hage, collection "Souces/Cibles", Publications of the University Saint-Joseph (with the support of Inalco), Beyrouth, 2007, 260 pages, distribution Librerie du Liban Publishers.
The unabridged version of the thesis can be consulted at the Inalco's Library (Paris) and at the faculty of literatures at the University Saint-Joseph (Beyrouth).
The book was published with the support of Fondazione Mediterraneo in the framework of the year of Beyrouth book world capital.
