This edition of the Trieste Film Festival is the eleventh in which the Fondazione Laboratorio Mediterraneo and the Maison de la Méditerranée collaborate, assigning the Premio Laboratorio Mediterraneo for the best short film.

The event has always had the merit of exploring the languages, cultures and traditions characterizing this vast geographic area that stretches from Central Europe to the Asian republics, becoming a witness of those epochal changes that have transformed it.
