Predrag Matvejevic’, taught literature at the University
of Zagreb. Then he was professor at the New Sorbonne in Paris
before taking up teaching in Slavic languages at the La Sapienza
in Rome. The talented writer of a Russian father and a Croat
mother left Ex-Yugoslavia.
The book contains un interview dedicated to themes from “Il
mondo ex”, the novel published by Garzanti in 1996.
