The seventh session of the II Forum
Civile Euromed, within the thematic area Values and Cultures
as Resources, set, as primary recommendation, the diffusion
among the populations of a culture of tourism able not only
to promote conscious and culturally motivated consumption
choices, but also to facilitate knowledge and dialogue among
the peoples and Countries belonging to the European Union
and to the Mediterranean area, so as to make the tourist flows
effective and tangible instruments of cooperation and exchange.
Among the proposed projects were: Legislation for an Integrated
Land Management ; Carrying out specific interventions to limit
noise, air and sight pollution ; Increasing the professional
competence of tourist operators.
