The tenth session of the II Forum Civile Euromed, within the thematic area Economic and Social Relationships, was divided into three sub-sessions. The first one dealt with themes concerning migrations and multiethnic societies, stressing that the most urgent problem to solve was the harmonization of laws in host Countries and the control of immigrants, and that in the future the main challenge would be represented by the socio-economic integration of immigrants in the host countries and the cooperation with immigrants’ home countries. The second one reaffirmed the importance of human dignity , the right to education and life-long training, to a well-paid job and a minimum wage able to guarantee the dignity of a person. While the third sub-session dealt with the themes concerning women’s condition.
