Bodies from the Euro-Mediterranean countries have joined these co-partnerships, even in the face of conflicts (as in the case of Palestine and Israel); cities. Universities, academies, local communities, professional organisations, N.G.O.s and other bodies, through specific executive resolutions have ratified the various statutes and thus recognised the network’s legitimate representation .
States, Regions, Cities, Provinces, Universities and numerous Institutions of the Euro-Mediterranean countries (representing more than 150 million citizens) have unanimously approved the official resolutions which between 2000 and 2001, have been also sent, to the European Parliament and the European Commission. In these they have recognised the high level of representation the said Institutions and have requested appropriate funding for their operations and for the consolidation of the network.
